چکیده

Abstract The formation of molecules in the interstellar medium (ISM) remains a complex and unresolved question astrochemistry. A group particular interest involves linkage between carboxyl amine group, similar to that peptide bond. detection containing these peptide-like bonds ISM can help elucidate possible mechanisms, as well indicate level molecular complexity available within certain regions ISM. Two simplest bond, formamide (NH 2 CHO) acetamide (CH 3 CONH ), have previously been detected toward star-forming region Sagittarius B2 (Sgr B2). Recently, propionamide (C H 5 ) was reported Sgr B2(N) with Atacama Large Millimeter/submillimeter Array (ALMA) observations at millimeter wavelengths. Yet, this has questioned by others from same set ALMA no statistically significant line emission identified any uncontaminated transitions. Using Prebiotic Interstellar Molecule Survey (PRIMOS) observations, we report an additional search for C centimeter wavelengths conducted Green Bank Telescope. No spectral signatures were detected. An upper limit determined be N T < 1.8 × 10 14 cm ?2 /CH ratio is found <2.34. This work again questions initial indicates more structures may difficulty forming or are below limits current astronomical facilities. Additional structurally related species provided aid future laboratory searches.

The Variability of Sagittarius A* at Centimeter Wavelengths

We present the results of a 3.3-year project to monitor the flux density of Sagittarius A* at 2.0, 1.3, and 0.7 cm with the Very Large Array. Between 2000.5 and 2003.0, 119 epochs of data were taken with a mean separation between epochs of eight days. After 2003.0, observations were made roughly once per month for a total of nine additional epochs. Details of the data calibration process are di...

HCl absorption toward Sagittarius B2.

We have detected the 626 GHz J = 1 --> 0 transition of hydrogen chloride (H35Cl) in absorption against the dust continuum emission of the molecular cloud Sagittarius B2. The observed line shape is consistent with the blending of the three hyperfine components of this transition by the velocity profile of Sgr B2 observed in other species. The apparent optical depth of the line is tau approxima...

Intra-day Variation of Sagittarius A at Short Millimeter Wavelengths

We have performed the monitoring observations of flux density of Sagittarius A at short millimeter wavelengths (100 and 140 GHz bands) on seven years in the period from 1996 to 2003 using the Nobeyama Millimeter Array (NMA). We found intra-day variation of Sgr A in March 2000 flare. The flux density at the peak of the flares increases 100–200% at 100 GHz and 200–400% at 140 GHz (∆S/S), respecti...

Warm Water Vapor around Sagittarius B2

In the region of Sgr B2 there are several condensations heated externally by nearby hot stars. Therefore H2O far–IR lines are expected to probe only an external low–density and high temperature section of these condensations, whereas millimeter-wave lines can penetrate deeper into them where the density is higher and Tk lower. We have conducted a study combining H2O lines in both spectral regio...
